On the afternoon of January 8, Mr. Tan Kim Song, Director of China Operations of Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and his entourage of four people visited Nanning University. Ms. Qin Fengcai, Director of Development Planning and Cooperation Exchange Office of Nanning University met the foreign guests and had a discussion and exchange in Conference Room 514 of the Administration Building, and relevant persons in charge of the Academic Affairs Office of the school and the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Ms. Qin first welcomed the visit of Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur and briefly introduced the basic situation of Nanning University. Afterward, Mr. Tan Kim Song thanked Nanning University for the warm reception and indicated that this visit is a return visit to President Li Dongxue's visit to IUKL in November 2023, expressing the hope of promoting the cooperative projects between the two universities as soon as possible. Participants exchanged views on cooperation areas such as students studying for master's degrees, exchange visits, joint training, teachers' exchange and training, scientific research cooperation, and achievement transformation.
Through the discussion, the two sides reached a consensus on cooperation in undergraduate exchange (exchange) study, joint cultivation of graduate students and other projects. As the next step, Nanning University will take the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering as the main force to steadily push forward the cooperation projects with Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur and see the results on the ground.
