Nanning University established in 1985, is an university of the first batch of pilot universities of applied technology in China, which has33 year educational history. It covers an area of 1300 mu and owns about 14000 full-time students and about 900 teachers on campus.
In 2013, NU was selected by the ministry of education as one of the first pilot universities of applied technology universities in China. It, honored as “ theleader of Guangxi universities of applied technology”, focuses on the application-oriented transformation and ranks in the front of universities of
Guangxi in China. With the concept of Application-oriented, Open type and New experience, NU has established ZTE Institute of Engineering, Gaobo
Faculty of Quality Engineering and the Faculty of AI with ZTE, the Quality Technology Supervision Bureau of Guangxi, Gaobo Education Group
and Iflytek CO.,LTD. According to the need of industry development in Guangxi, NU has set up 27 applied subject specialties, connecting professional
chain, industrial chain and entrepreneurial chain. The university continues to promote the construction of application-oriented teacher team, which is
composed of 759 teachers, with double professionally -title teachers accounts for 33.91%. NU struggles to conduct NU struggles to conduct institutional
service system, focus on building group of scientific research bases or crap balls with regional characteristics that match the university’s strategic
development, including the Ministry of education ZTE ICT industry and education integration base to serve the construction of China-ASEAN
information port, China-ASEAN quality research and service base to service the country “One Belt and One Road”development strategy, the research
institution of businessmen of Guangxi to service local industrial industry construction .The number of patent applications of the university ranked
11th in Guangxi respectively in 2017.

studyfoundation and develop stably. In the past three years, our students have won awards in China's "Internet +" collegestudent innovation and
entrepreneurship competition, national college student advertising design competition andother national competitions.
