On December 11, 2023, Kanakarn Phanniphong, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok, Thailand, and his entourage of 6 people visited Nanning University for exchange. Mr. Gong Ji, Vice President of Nanning University, met with the guests and had a discussion and exchange in Conference Room 400 of the Administration Building, and the relevant persons in charge of the Office of Development Planning and Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering, the School of Business, the School of Information Engineering, and the School of Continuing Education were present at the meeting.
At the meeting, Vice President Gong Ji firstly expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok and briefly introduced the basic situation of Nanning University, especially emphasizing that the cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of education has natural advantages and broad prospects, and the university has always been committed to the international development, attaching importance to the establishment of a wide range of cooperative relations with universities in Thailand. Afterward, Vice President Kanakarn Phanniphong of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok thanked Nanning University for the warm reception and expressed his recognition of the development of Nanning University and his hope to promote cooperation and exchange between the two universities. Representatives of the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering, School of Business, School of Information Engineering, and School of Continuing Education introduced the characteristics and advantages of their respective colleges had in-depth exchanges with the foreign guests, and reached a consensus on cooperation in the areas of student exchange, joint training, teacher exchange and training, scientific research cooperation and transformation of achievements.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Gong Ji presented a souvenir to Mr. Kanakarn Phanniphong and expressed his hope that the two universities would accelerate the implementation of the projects on which they had reached a consensus on cooperation.
Before the meeting, Qin Fengcai, head of the Development Planning and Cooperation and Exchange Office, accompanied the foreign guests to visit the school campus, the Art Gallery, the Intelligent Manufacturing Research and Innovation Center, the China-ASEAN Comprehensive Transportation International Joint Laboratory, the Ministry of Education ICT Industry and Teaching Integration Innovation Base and other laboratories.
