On the morning of 29th May, a group of 9 persons, including President Linda Genma of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Thailand, visited our university. The visit included two activities: a campus tour and a symposium.
Vice President Chen Xiongzhang and Vice President Gong Ji greeted the foreign guests at the south gate of the university and accompanied them to visit the Art Gallery, Intelligent Manufacturing Research and Innovation Centre, Guangxi Key Laboratory of International Join for China-ASEAN Comprehensive Transportation, and ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base. After the visit, President Li Dongxue and President Linda Genma of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University held a meeting in the first-floor hall of the library.

Welcome speech by President Li Dongxue
At the meeting, President Li Dongxue expressed his sincere welcome to the visit of President Linda Genma and her delegation from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Thailand, and expressed his gratitude and hope to President Linda Genma. He thanked Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University for training the heads of many departments of the university and helping Nanning University to optimize the teaching staff and improve the overall level of the teaching staff. We hope that the joint postgraduate program between the two universities will be carried out smoothly, and the two universities will carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in various fields such as teaching, scientific research and talent cultivation, etc. We firmly believe that the cooperation between the two universities will definitely bring the driving force for each other's development, and the two universities will look forward to and work hard together so that the flower of cooperation will bear fruits.

President Linda Genma of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University expressed her gratitude to Nanning University for its warm reception. The purpose of this visit is to visit the teachers who are pursuing doctoral and master's degrees at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Thailand, as well as to discuss joint cultivation of postgraduate programs. Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University cooperates with 30 foreign institutions. Nanning University, with its beautiful campus and advanced teaching facilities, is a famous private university in Guangxi and even in China, which is a very good partner.
After the meeting, the Presidents of the two universities signed the Memorandum of Understanding and exchanged souvenirs. Heads of the Development Planning and Co-operation Exchange Office, Academic Affairs Office, Personnel Office, Student Work Office, Faculty of Continuing Education and other departments and second-level faculties of the university participated in the above activities.
